KBAR #29: Life of Elvis.

The book I am now reading is an autobiography of Elvis Presley. So far this book is very informational and a great book! Of course this book talks about the life of Elvis and how he revolutionized into a amazing  Rock and Roll musician! It starts off talking about how he grew up poor and very polite. He wasn't the wild, crazy icon yet.

College Adventure.

The three sites that we saw at Stanford University were the  Stanford Athletic Shop, Taube Family Tennis Stadium, and finally Stanford Stadium.
We chose these three spots because they seemed really nice and interesting to visit. The Athletic Shop had really nice hats, shirts, joggers, sweatpants, sweaters etc. A little bit pricey but amazing clothes.
We took this photo when we visited the Athletic Shop. There are some hats and shirts.
The Tennis Courts were pretty big. While we were in the we saw people playing tennis. It was nice to see how it looked like and how people would play in the courts. We actually went there by mistake sort of because went up some stairs then we found that place but good thing we did find it.

Then finally we went to the Stanford Stadium it looked big from the outside. Although we couldn't go inside it looked really big. On the from it has a big sign that says Stanford Stadium. We went there because it looked huge and we thought it was probably something important.
This is the Stanford Stadium.

The Athletic Shop is important to Stanford University because many student go there and buy athletic outfits or hats and clothes. Also that's a good way for the University to make money. If they didn't have that then probably many students would be without outfits and stuff. Also Stanford wouldn't make as much money probably.

The Tennis Courts are important to Stanford University because many students and people go there to play tennis and have fun or just practice if tennis is a sport they play. So if they didn't have those courts then they wouldn't be able to practice.
They need the Stanford Stadium in Stanford University because they play games there like football and stuff and without that then they wouldn't be able to play football.

My favorite part of Stanford University was how there's a lot of people there and how you could easily communicate with anyone. I also loved the food!! It was really good. I mostly just loved the whole school.

Something that surprised me about Stanford college was there was a lot of buildings and it was like a town. There were lots of cars, bikes, buildings, and way more. That's what I really liked about Stanford although it might be too hard and tiring to get to your classes.

What I look for in a campus is that I could easily walk from one class to another with no problem or struggle. Also I would love for the campus to have really good food and a variety of food locations to choose from. I would also like for the school to have crazy parties because that would be super fun. But most of all I would like for the education in the campus to be excellent.

What I learned about this trip to those colleges is that most colleges are super huge! Also there is lot of students in there! Also in Stanford they used mostly bikes instead of vehicles. This was a really fun trip!!

Human Agency or Forces Beyond Our Control?

Human Agency shapes a person's life more than forces beyond our control because many people want to express their individual power in life. Yes there are many forces beyond our control but as we get older there is more freedom in our lives so there is less forces beyond our control. But there will always be Human Agency in our society and world.

Dreams with Fortune.

If I won a fortune then I would help my parents and/or siblings with everything they need help on and make their dreams come true because I owe them that much and more :). Then I would donate some money to those in need. With the rest of the money I would just buy things for me and buy a bigger house for my family and I. Also I would take my family on vacations and travel everywhere. I don't think there would be any dangers or problems.

Musical Emotions...

The "songs" that Kino has are his feelings. The song represent what he feels at the moment. That's why they always change because he has different emotions each time. Like when the part of the scorpion happened he heard an evil song because he felt like the scorpion was evil.
I can't really relate with the song thing that Kino has because when I feel anger I just feel anger I don't really hear "songs" when I'm feeling any emotion.

KBAR #18: Words that Best Describe the Character.

There are many words I can describe the main character in (Ellie). But here are the top : Adventurous, eager, inclusive, and convincing. She's adventurous because she loves camping out with her friends and exploring new things. She's very eager because she really wants mostly all her friends to join her and go camping and she wants everyone she invites to get along with each other so they could have a good time. So she's determined to make them all friends. Ellie is inclusive because she's including everyone in the camping trip well teenagers only. Ellie convincing because she practically convinces Robyn's dad (Robyn is her friend) to let her go camping with them.

KBAR #17: Things Not in Common

Ellie and I have some things in common but not all things. For example, my parents would never let me use they're car to go camping. Especially if it was a nice car like theirs (Land Rover). Also she doesn't have a license or a permit so of course my parents wouldn't let me. We're also different because my parents would NEVER let me go camping with boys even if they're some girls with me. That's a big no no! Unless it was my cousins or something. But other then that NO!
